Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lilwin, has reignited his ongoing critique of fellow entertainer Dr Likee, this time tying it to plans for a major event in the United Kingdom.
The Ghanaian actor, who has not shied away from subtle digs since Dr Likee’s recent show at the O2 Indigo in London, has once again stirred conversation with new remarks that surfaced online.
In a video circulating on X, LilWin outlined what he says will be a bigger and more ambitious production staged in the UK.
He explained that the event will not only be a live show but also a platform for screening some of his film projects. Among the titles he mentioned were A Country Called Ghana, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, and other productions he is currently developing.
According to him, the programme will merge a film premiere with a musical concert featuring some of Ghana’s leading artistes.
“You know people are interested in watching A Country Called Ghana and A Journey to Africa, which is a new movie I am working on. So that night, I will have a movie premiere, and after the movie, I will host a musical concert. It is going to be massive,” he said.
He further suggested that his planned venue would outsize Dr Likee’s O2 event, while also taking another indirect swipe at the format of the show.
“I will go to a bigger venue than O2. If I go there, some people will say I am copying others’ work. So mine will not be a concert party because we will combine a music show with a movie premiere. I will look for a bigger venue,” Lilwin further stated.
