Efia Odo has pushed back against ongoing speculation about her relationship with comedian and content creator Dr Likee, expressing disbelief at the type of questions she continues to receive from the public.
The actress and socialite addressed the issue during a TikTok Live session after a viewer asked whether she had ever been intimate with the popular skit maker.
Clearly unimpressed by the question, Efia Odo criticized what she described as a growing tendency to assume that every friendship or working relationship between a man and a woman must have a romantic or sexual angle.
“You wake up in the morning, and this is what you’re thinking about? You can ask me anything in this world, but you asking me if Dr Likee has had sex with me before is insane,” she said.
She argued that too much attention is often placed on her personal life, while the work she does and the projects she is involved in receive far less interest from the public.
“Why must everything be about sex? Every time you people want to ask something, whether in the morning, afternoon, or evening, whether I’ve eaten or not. If he has slept with me, is that your business?” she stated.
Seeking to put the rumours to rest, Efia Odo categorically denied ever having a romantic or sexual relationship with Dr Likee, stressing that their connection has always been centred on work.
“To answer your question, Dr Likee has not slept with me before. The relationship we have is all about work and nothing more,” she clarified.
According to her, their collaboration is focused solely on producing entertaining content for audiences, and she questioned why professional partnerships are so often viewed through a different lens.
“We just create content for you all to be happy. You can’t see someone working with someone without thinking of sex?” Efia Odo queried.
