“What Happened?” DKB Demands Answers From Jordan Ayew After Ghana’s Exit

Ghanaian comedian DKB

Ghanaian comedian DKB has joined the growing list of voices questioning the Black Stars’ performance at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, directing his frustration at forward Jordan Ayew after Ghana’s elimination by Colombia.

Following the team’s 1-0 defeat in the Round of 32 on July 4, 2026, the comedian took to social media to address Ayew directly, expressing disappointment over the player’s contribution during the tournament.

“Bra Jordan, I am not smiling. You qualified us to the World Cup. Now, push the country forward. What happened? Is it the coach that told you not to play well? Because I don’t understand,” he said.

DKB argued that Ayew had demonstrated his quality on the international club stage and questioned why he could not reproduce similar performances while representing Ghana.

“On the international platform, look at the type of goals you scored. If you score the same for us, what will happen?” he asked.

The comedian further revealed that he had attempted to view Ayew’s performances more positively but struggled to overlook the moments that left fans frustrated.

“I am trying to reverse everything in my mind. All the moments you fumbled, I am imagining that it went well. It’s not all working.

“Jordan, don’t make your enemies get you like that,” he said.

DKB further reiterated the sentiments of many disappointed supporters who were left reflecting on Ghana’s early exit from the competition.

“Right now, what should we do with the jerseys we have?” the popular Ghanaian comedian asked.

Ghana’s 1-0 defeat to Colombia brought an end to the Black Stars’ 2026 World Cup journey, extending the country’s wait for another memorable campaign on football’s biggest stage.

Below is a video of DKB’s remarks.
