‘I Was Taken Out of My Body to Heaven’ – Duncan-Williams Recounts 1hr 45min Spiritual Encounter

Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams

Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, founder and leader of Action Chapel International, has recounted an extraordinary spiritual experience in which he says he was taken out of his body, shown what he described as heaven, and later returned to his body.

The renowned Ghanaian preacher shared the account during a sermon at his church, saying the encounter lasted approximately one hour and 45 minutes.

Duncan-Williams said he was taken to what appeared to be a high mountain, where he encountered scenes that left a lasting impression on him, including grass that looked like diamonds.

“I went there for 1 hour 45 minutes. I was taken out of my body to heaven. I saw some very interesting things. One of the things I saw was that an angel took me to a high mountain and the grass was like diamonds,” he recounted.

He used the experience to urge members of his congregation to pay attention to spiritual instructions, suggesting that obedience could open the way for others to have similar encounters.

“If you follow the instructions of the spirit, some people will have an encounter to go to heaven. You won’t die, but you will go to heaven and see heaven, then you come back,” he said.

The archbishop then recounted an encounter with a man he identified as Elder Saki, whom he said was among the elders who had prayed for him during his time on earth.

“While I was standing there, one of the fathers that brought me out in prayer, Elder Saki, the angel said to me, ‘Do you know anybody here?’ and I said yes. He drove on that beautiful grass and came to see me.”

According to Duncan-Williams, Elder Saki recognised him and called him by his first name before giving him what he described as a pass that enabled him to return to his body.

“He mentioned my first name and I said, Papa. He then gave me a pass to go back to my body,” he shared.

He also described the vehicle Elder Saki was driving as a striking white car that appeared to shine like diamonds.

Duncan-Williams said he was later made to understand that the car held particular significance because it had been Elder Saki’s dream vehicle while he was alive.

“He was driving a beautiful white car that shone like diamonds. Apparently, that was his dream car when he was on earth, so he got it in heaven,” he further stated.
