Musician Nana Tuffour Is Dead

Highlife Musician, Nana Tuffour popularly called 9924 is reported dead in Kumasi after a short illness.

Information available to First News indicates that the ‘Abeiku’ hit maker died at home , his body has been sent to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital Morgue. Nana Tuffour has been sick for sometime now.

The Late Nana Tuffour

Nana Tuffour known in private life as James Kwaku Tuffour was born on 14 February, 1954.

He started his musicial career as Keyboardist with Alex Konadu. He later joined Waza Africa Band and also worked with famous Nigerian Musician Sunny Ade.

The late Nana Tuffour has over 15 albums to his credit.Some of his hit tracks include; ‘Abeiku,’ ‘Dina,’ ‘Meyere Dada’ among others.
