‘Break and Go’ Spirits Are Affecting Pastors’ Marriages, Prophet Kumchacha Claims

Prophet Kumchacha

Prophet Kumchacha has attributed the growing number of marital challenges among some Ghanaian pastors to what he describes as a spiritual consequence of their ministry work.

The founder of Heaven’s Gate Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries claimed that the evil spirits pastors cast out during deliverance sessions may eventually return and affect the ministers and their families.

Speaking in an interview on Aluta FM in Accra, the outspoken preacher made the comments while sharing his thoughts on the widely discussed marital troubles involving Bishop Daniel Obinim and gospel musician Florence Obinim.

Kumchacha explained that spirits expelled from congregants during spiritual battles do not simply disappear but, according to him, move around in search of another place to inhabit, sometimes targeting pastors and their spouses.

“Everyday, they do ‘break and go,’ ‘break and go,’ when the spirits break out, they roam around looking for where to go and they end up going into the pastors themselves or even the wives of these pastors,” he said.

He further suggested that this situation has contributed to difficulties in many pastoral marriages, claiming that some pastors’ wives struggle to receive enough affection and attention from their husbands.

“Most marriages between pastors and their wives are going through a lot. The pastors’ wives are not getting the love and attention from their husbands.

“The same way most of these pastors are constantly getting nagged and disturbed by their wives to an extent they end up suffering from ailments like high blood pressure and stroke,” Prophet Kumchacha stated.
