Osei Kuffour Was A Bully-John Paintsil

Former Fulham and Black Stars Defender, John Paintsil has disclosed that former Hearts of Oak Striker, Emmanuel Osei Kuffour was a bully during the 2002 AFCON.

According to John Paintsil, Emmanuel Osei Kuffour made life uncomfortable for him in camp during the 2002 AFCON held in Mali.

He noted that it got to a time he couldn’t bear it any longer this he indicated pushed him to fight Emmanuel Osei Kuffour.

“We exchanged blows in the process but no one got hurt in the process,” Paintsil revealed.

He disclosed that there was unhealthy relationship in the team because most of the senior players at that time were always bullying junior players in the team this he noted did not create the right atmosphere in camp.

During the tournament former Bayern Munich Defender, Samuel Osei Kuffour was also sacked from camp for indiscipline. Ghana kicked out of the competition at the quarter finals by Nigeria.
