Thirty-two (32) year old man, Muhammad Alfa is in the grips of the Kano State in Nigeria for raping 40 women including an 80-year-old woman.
According to the Kano State Police alleged rapist has been engaging in the act in the past one year in the state.
DSP Abdullahi Haruna, the command’s spokesperson, confirmed the arrest to First News.
According to DSP Haruna, the suspect was arrested on June 10, 2020 at about 2 a.m. when he sneaked into a home at Kwanan Dangora Town in Kano to rape a woman.
DSP Haruna noted that during investigation the suspect, Muhammad Alfa admitted raping over 40 women in the past one year, adding that some of the victims included children and an 80-year-old woman.
Habu Ahmad, the Police Commissioner had ordered the for the transfer of the suspect to the State Criminal Intelligence Department for further investigations after which he would be charged to court.
