The Head of Local Government Service, Dr. Nana Ato Arthur is urging each Municipal Metropolitan and District Assembles (MMDA) to establish a Sports Desk to unearth talents.
Dr. Nana Ato Arthur noted that the Sports desk is to liaise with sports teachers under the Ghana Education Service to unearth these talents in the area of football, volleyball among others.
He indicated that the Local Government Service would liaise with Ghana Football Association (GFA), Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) and the Ghana Education Service (GES).
He indicated that there would be someone who would be in charge of the Sports Desk.
Dr. Arthur noted that if this step is taken it would go a long way to unearth many talents in the country.
He also called for a second look at the training of Ghanaian Coaches if this is done he believes would bring victories to the country.
