Elijah Asante, the Headteacher of SDA Primary School at Bantama in the Sene West of the Bono East Region has been killed by armed robbers.
Information available to First News has it that, Elijah Asante was shot on Atebubu-Kwame Danso.
The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. on Thursday between Shafa and Bantama after he went for an interview with the aim of partaking in the up-coming population census exercise.
The body of the late Elijah Asante has been deposited at the Kwame Danso Government Hospital waiting for autopsy.
The Atebubu-Kwame Danso stretch over the years have recorded many robbery cases leading to some deaths.
The police have commenced investigation into the incident.
