John Mahama Clashes With Sammy Gyamfi Over Covid-19 Vaccination

Former President John Dramani Mahama and the Communication Director of the National Democratic Congress, Sammy Gyamfi clash over Covid-19 vaccination.

Whiles the Communication Director of the National Democratic Congress(NDC), Sammy Gyamfi is urging people not to take Covid vaccination because he does not believe in its efficacy and had gone ahead to drag the Ghana Health Service and the Attorney -General to court for making the taking of Covid-19 vaccination mandatory, former President John Mahama on his part is urging people to go for their covid jabs.

Former President John Mahama on his Facebook wall wrote, “The yuletide season was characterized by super-spreader events such as mega concerts, street carnivals and beach parties. The New Year season is here! Let’s be more conscious of our health as we pray for health workers because of the more transmissible omicron variant. Let’s also observe the Covid protocols. Observe social distancing, wash your hands as frequently as possible, avoid handshakes, use hand sanitizers and wear a mask. And please get vaccinated if you haven’t done so yet. If you have, go for your second dose.”

Ghana’s Covid-19 active cases stands at 9,534 as at 25th December, 2021.
