Dodowa: Groups Celebrate Malaria Day At Porters Village Orphanage

The 16th World Malaria celebration is under the theme: “Time to deliver zero malaria: invest, innovate, implement.”
In 2021, because of the joint actions by malaria-affected countries and partners, malaria deaths decreased compared to 2020 despite the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The CEO of Exa Ventures Mrs. Doris Adoboe explained why her team had come to visit and made the donation on behalf of the group even as Ghana awaits the roll out of the R21 malaria vaccine.
“With over 3000 deaths globally every day and with nearly 500,000 African children dying annually from Malaria, the disease Malaria is one of the major health conditions plaguing the African continent and Ghana is no exception. This is the reason why we at EXA Ventures decided to mark this year’s celebration with a week-long education at the various levels in the community educating pregnant women at Seduase , corporate organizations and an Orphanage in Dodowa.”
The Founder of Xornel-P and Gbedeka Farms assured the children of his company’s continuous support.
The CEO of HomePack Medical Services Mr. Semanu Adoboe educated the children and their guardians on some preventive measures of Malaria during their visit and encouraged them to not lose hope in their abilities and excel in their various God-given talents and nothing was impossible to achieve regardless of the current environment and circumstances.
