Ghanaian actress Martha Ankomah wishes to be married with three kids
Ghanaian actress Martha Ankomah has shared her desire to be married with at least three children.
In an interview on Okukuseku with Emelia Brobbey, Ankomah expressed hope that a good man would come into her life. She emphasized her faith in prayer, believing that God would answer her and fulfill her wishes.
“Who doesn’t want marriage? Let’s be real. I wish I had three kids that I could drop off at Sunday school and take to school. It’s a beautiful thing, and I’m confident that God will listen to my prayers,” she said.
Ankomah continued, “There are many things I’ve prayed about, and He [God] has already answered some of them. So I know He will do this for me as well. It’s just a matter of time.”
Addressing misconceptions about the acting profession, Ankomah also dispelled the notion that actresses struggle to settle down in Ghana.
“I don’t believe in the idea that being an actress means you won’t find a husband. Outsiders view things differently than we do in the industry. It’s about how you conduct yourself. Many creatives have gotten married and are living happily,” she added.
