Nigel Gaisie admits his prophecies are not 100% accurate

Prophet Nigel Gaisie

Prophet Nigel Gaisie has made a surprising admission about his prophetic work.

In a recent interview on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz, the popular Ghanaian prophet shared that his prophecies are not always accurate. Gaisie stated that any prophet who claims to have 100% accuracy is, in his view, not genuine.

“I sometimes get my prophecies wrong. That makes me human. Every prophet that gets it 100% right is fake,” he said. “Sometimes God will twist your mouth and your lips to make a mistake, so you, the vessel, remember you’re human. That’s why you have to stay sharp spiritually. As prophets, we don’t like disturbances. My emotions are very important because I can see red and misinterpret it.”

Gaisie also reflected on the challenges he faced early in his ministry, attributing some of his past mistakes to a lack of mentorship and education. He mentioned that senior men of faith were not always supportive when he started, which led to regrettable missteps.

“Most of us prophets aren’t educated, and the senior men of faith didn’t hold us up. So, personally, I’ve made mistakes. Reverend Eastwood Anaba, for instance, has become a mentor and helps keep me grounded. He sometimes calls me at dawn, and for some of us, he’s like a checks and balances figure.”

Prophet Nigel Gaisie further explained that the absence of mentors contributed to some avoidable errors. Reflecting on his past, he noted, “There are things I did 9 or 10 years ago that, given the chance, I would approach differently—like the way I prophesied about Mahama.”
