The legal team of Ghanaian Gospel singer Evangelist Diana Asamoah has issued a strong rebuttal to social media rumors falsely alleging that she is a lesbian, warning against the spread of such defamatory claims.
A viral video featuring an unidentified woman making the accusation has sparked heated discussions online.
In response, Asamoah’s lawyers released a statement categorically denying the allegations, describing the video as “slanderous and misleading.”
“Our Client firmly asserts that she is not a lesbian and has never engaged in any such practices,” the statement declared.
Challenging the accuser, the legal team demanded evidence and urged her to stand by her claims in court.
“We challenge the woman in the video to come forward and substantiate her accusations so that we can address them in a court of competent jurisdiction,” the statement added.
Asamoah’s lawyers have urged the public to dismiss the video, emphasizing that it is nothing more than an attempt to tarnish her image.
“If the accuser fails to come forward, the public should treat this baseless video with the contempt it deserves,” the statement concluded.
