Bringing Guns to My House Was Uncalled For – Shatta Wale Slams EOCO Boss Over Raid

Shatta Wale

Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has taken to social media to vent his frustrations at what he describes as an unprovoked raid on his home, and he’s not holding back.

In a series of pointed posts, the outspoken musician called out Raymond Archer, head of the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO), accusing him of using his position to intimidate citizens rather than serve them.

“EOCO BOSS, the President of Ghana didn’t put you in that office to come and humiliate the citizens of this country… Remember, God no sleep!!” Shatta Wale wrote, suggesting that the recent incident was not only unjustified but a misuse of public office.

The artist didn’t stop there. In a follow-up message, he warned that such actions could have political consequences, hinting at public backlash for the ruling National Democratic Congress in the next election cycle.
“Raymond Archer EOCO BOSS, Ibe you go make NDC go out of power next 4yrs. Bringing guns to my house was uncalled for!!!!” he posted.

While details surrounding the alleged raid are still unclear, Shatta Wale’s public outburst suggests a deep sense of betrayal and fear. Known for his no-holds-barred commentary and huge influence among the youth, his message is already stirring conversations online about the limits of power and the treatment of public figures.

Neither EOCO nor its director has publicly responded to the allegations as of now. However, with Shatta Wale shining a spotlight on the situation, pressure may soon mount for answers.
