Fameye Introduces New Alter Ego ‘Antonio,’ Inspired by His Father’s Police Roots

Fameye

Ghanaian artiste Fameye is ushering in a new chapter in his career with the debut of “Antonio,” an alter ego inspired by his roots.

In an interview with TV3, the ‘Notin I Get’ singer revealed that Antonio will be at the center of his upcoming music, drawing from his father’s background in law enforcement and even adopting the look of a policeman’s son.

“There is something coming up, if you see my new look. My father is a policeman, so I’m beginning to look like the child of a police officer. This look is called Antonio, watch out for this character because it’s going to be crazy out here in Ghana,” he said.

Antonio, according to Fameye, will replace “Peter,” a persona he unveiled in 2023 that fueled his creative energy over the past year.

“Antonio is from the spirit. He comes from deep within me, and he takes over from Peter. So watch out for him,” he further stated.
