Nana Ama McBrown has extended her sympathies to the family of TikTok sensation Osanju, whose untimely death has shaken fans and fellow creators across Ghana.
In a video shared online, content creator Oheneba Jude was seen at the late influencer’s home, where he passed his phone to Osanju’s father so McBrown could speak with him personally. During their conversation, the actress, who fondly referred to Osanju as her “boyfriend”, offered words of comfort while the grieving father recounted his son’s battle with illness.
“I am sure that during your recent meetings, he shared with you the health issue he has been battling. It’s you, the media, who have kept him in the spotlight until now. He was aware that his life could be short-lived, and whatever has happened, I believe it is all part of God’s plan. His time had come, which is why he left us,” he said.
Osanju, who had openly documented his fight with leukemia on social media, passed away on September 1, 2025. The news stunned the online community, particularly because he had been seen just the day before, on August 31, enjoying the Barcelona vs. Rayo Vallecano match.
Despite his health struggles, the young content creator had often hinted at the possibility of a short life while continuing to share his story with fans. Earlier this year, his resilience earned him a spot on McBrown’s Onua Showtime, where his journey received wider attention.
