Ghanaian artiste, KiDi, known i private life as Dennis Nana Dwamena, has opened up about his outlook on love, saying his approach to relationships is deeply shaped by loyalty, faith, and family values.
During an interview on Asempa FM, the multiple award-winning artiste said he lives by the “one-man, one-woman” principle, a belief inspired by the long-lasting marriage of his parents.
“I grew up watching my mum and dad build something beautiful together. They’ve been together for years, and that has shaped how I see love and family,” he shared.
The “Touch It” hitmaker explained that his stance on monogamy comes from his Christian faith but noted that he does not expect everyone to share the same belief.
“Muslims are allowed to marry more than one; Christians are not, so I cannot say what’s right or wrong for anyone else. What works for one person might not work for another. For me, as a Christian, I believe one man, one woman is right,” KiDi said.
He added that the example set by his parents instilled in him a strong appreciation for loyalty, commitment, and partnership, values he hopes to uphold in his own romantic life.
