Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have welcomed their third child, a baby girl named Rocki Irish Mayers, expanding their growing family.
The Grammy-winning singer shared the news in a social media post on Wednesday with a post featuring a photo of herself holding the newborn and another of tiny baby shoes. The caption revealed the baby’s name, her birth date — Sept. 13 — and a ribbon emoji.
Their latest addition was first hinted at in May when the couple revealed the pregnancy during the Met Gala. Rihanna turned heads in a pinstripe outfit topped with an oversized hat, while Rocky, serving as co-chair, told reporters, “It’s time that we show the people what we was cooking up. And I’m glad everybody’s happy for us ’cause we definitely happy, you know.”
The pair has made a tradition of headline-making pregnancy reveals. Rihanna memorably unveiled her baby bump during her Super Bowl halftime performance in 2023, months before giving birth to their second child, Riot Rose. Their first son, RZA, was born in May 2022.
Rihanna and Rocky confirmed their relationship in 2020, and since then have consistently blended private milestones with public moments. Their latest family news comes on the heels of Rocky’s legal victory in February, when he was acquitted on firearms charges in Los Angeles. At the verdict, he jumped into Rihanna’s arms in celebration, with the singer and their two boys present for the emotional moment.
