Famous Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie, has immortalized his gratitude in a new song following his much-celebrated Rapperholic Concert in Kumasi.
The single, titled “Asante Yɛ Oman,” is dedicated to Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene, and the people of Asanteman, whom Sarkodie credits for making the night unforgettable.
Reflecting on the event, he said the support moved him to tears, particularly as fans stood in the rain to cheer him on. He emphasized that the Asantehene’s backing gave him strength and was more than he could have hoped for.
Alongside his appreciation, Sarkodie offered an apology for the challenges that disrupted parts of the concert, assuring fans that their loyalty would never be taken for granted.
Before closing his message, he gave thanks to God and vowed that Sark Nation’s unwavering support will always stay with him, promising to return to Kumasi with even more energy.
