Nana Ama McBrown Warns Bloggers and TikTokers to Show Respect at Osanju’s Funeral

Ghanaian actress and television personality Nana Ama McBrown has called on bloggers and TikTok creators to conduct themselves with dignity during the funeral of TikToker Osanju. The burial service is scheduled for October 4, 2025, at the Atwima Koforidua School Park.

McBrown, who visited the late entertainer’s family on October 2, urged those planning to film or produce content at the ceremony to prioritize respect for the grieving relatives and mourners. She cautioned that although she understands people may wish to document the event, there must be no intrusion or misconduct.

“When you arrive at the funeral on Saturday, do not come and misbehave. Don’t think that just because it’s a young man’s funeral, you can push people around in your quest to record videos. You must show respect to the family,” she said in a TikTok.

The actress added that she would personally intervene if anyone crossed the line. “If you know you want to record, don’t put the camera in anyone’s face. If you do that to me, I swear to God I’ll smack your phone or camera out of your hand. You can record your videos, but respect the family’s space. If you do too much, don’t try me,” McBrown warned.

Osanju, born Elvis Frimpong, passed away on September 1, 2025, after suddenly collapsing at his home in Kumasi. He was first taken to Mount Sinai Hospital and later transferred to Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.

The news shocked fans across Ghana, especially since he had been actively posting online the night before, including a video about Barcelona’s La Liga performance.

Nana Ama McBrown, who fondly referred to Osanju as her “husband,” is expected to join friends, fans, and fellow entertainers to pay her final respects at the funeral.
