Famous Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie is taking his annual Rapperholic concert beyond borders for the first time. The 2026 edition of the much-anticipated event will be held in London, marking the show’s international debut in more than a decade of performances.
The announcement came on November 9, 2025, during Fameye’s London concert, where Sarkodie surprised fans and promised an all-star lineup for the UK audience.
“Next year, we are bringing Rapperholic here. You’re going to see Sarkodie, Black Sherif, Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, R2Bees,” he said, drawing roaring applause from the crowd.
The London edition follows a milestone moment earlier this year when Sarkodie relocated Rapperholic from Accra to Kumasi for a special “Homecoming” concert.
Held on September 27 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, the Kumasi show celebrated Sarkodie’s roots and energized the city. Weeks before the event, posters filled the streets, rehearsal clips went viral online, and anticipation built steadily. Sarkodie added to the excitement by paying homage to the Asantehene and participating in a large health walk across the city.
On the night of the concert, heavy rains could not dampen the enthusiasm of fans, who arrived hours early and danced through the downpour while DJs and hype men kept the momentum alive.
The show opened with performances from rising artists such as Hindu and Kweku Bany, followed by crowd favorites Efya, Kweku Smoke, Kweku Flick, and Oseikrom Sikani before Sarkodie returned to the stage, delivering a high-energy performance that reminded fans why Rapperholic remains Ghana’s premier rap event.
