Piesie Esther is offering yet another angle on Shatta Wale, describing him as far more gentle and approachable than the image many people associate with the Dancehall artiste.
Speaking on Angel FM, the gospel singer revisited her first meaningful interaction with him while preparing for one of her programs. That moment, she noted, caused her to rethink the narratives often tied to his public persona.
“I have met Shatta Wale before, and I must confess he is a very humble and respectful person. The last time I was organising my program, I met him during an interview, and I was happy with the way he hugged me. I even asked him to do an advert for me, which he happily did,” she said.
She added that her experience reflects the way he typically relates to people across the industry, regardless of style or genre.
“Shatta Wale loves everyone, and he is always happy when he sees gospel musicians. I was happy with the way he hugged me. I have loved him ever since,” the gospel singer further stated.
A lot of people have a certain perception about Shatta Wale due to his outspoken nature and choice of words online.
