Daddy Lumba’s 11 Children Release Heartfelt Tribute Song in His Honour

Eleven of Daddy Lumba’s children release a heartfelt tribute song as disputes over the late legend’s funeral continue to intensify.

A new tribute song from eleven of Daddy Lumba’s children has shifted public attention back to the late Highlife artiste’s legacy, even as disagreements over his funeral continue to dominate headlines.

Shared on the musician’s official social media pages on Monday, November 24, 2025, the release came with a touching video. The footage captures solemn moments inside Daddy Lumba’s Accra residence, where prominent figures from different sectors visited to comfort the family after his passing.

The tribute focuses on unity and love, presenting a rare moment of togetherness from his children at a time when debates over his final rites have grown increasingly heated. The emotional performance underscores their shared grief and admiration for their father.

According to the post, the track features vocals from Calvin Schindler (Germany), Denise Lady Ama Saah Fosuh (UK), Darren K Fosuh (Toronto, Ontario, Canada), Charlyn Amasah Fosuh (Germany), Ciara Akosua Serwaa Fosuh (Germany), Charles Kwadwo Fosuh Jnr (Ghana), Nana Ama Saah Fosuh (Ghana), Ohemaa Ofori Fosuh (Ghana), Awo Yaa Gyamfua Fosuh (Ghana), Katakyie Gyamfi Fosuh (Ghana) and Charles Kwadwo Fosuh (Ghana).

The children come from different mothers, including his German-based wife, Akosua Serwaa Fosuh, who is currently in court with Odo Broni over who should be legally recognized as Daddy Lumba’s spouse.

Their ongoing legal battle remains a major source of tension surrounding the preparations for the musician’s funeral, which has been overshadowed by disputes in recent weeks.
