Efia Odo says she has long stopped worrying about how she is perceived, explaining that public judgment no longer shapes her choices or her identity. The actress and socialite shared that Ghanaians are welcome to view her in whatever light they choose because she has no intention of convincing anyone to alter their opinion.
Speaking on Showbiz 360, Efia indicated that she pays little attention to critics who disapprove of her lifestyle or decisions. Her focus, she said, is on those who understand her and support her for who she truly is.
“I want Ghanaians to see me for how they want to see me. I’m not going to change anybody’s mind about me. As much as some people don’t agree with the things I do, many people do and my focus is only on those who agree,” she said.
According to Efia Odo, many of the individuals who now appreciate her once criticised her, which is why she believes that even current detractors may eventually change their stance.
“Even those who agree, four years ago, they didn’t agree. Those who don’t agree now, they will catch up very soon,” she stated.
She went on to describe her personal nature, revealing that her friendly public persona often masks her preference for solitude. While she remains warm toward people when she meets them, she said she is most comfortable spending time on her own.
“Naturally, I’m a loner. I don’t like being in the midst of people and I don’t really like people. I’m very friendly; when I see you, I will give you all the love and I will go my way,” Efia Odo revealed.
