“I Might Consider Getting Married If We’re Compatible” – Emelia Brobbey Open to Love Again

Emelia Brobbey

Ghanaian actress and TV presenter Emelia Brobbey has opened up about her personal experience with divorce, stressing that it is a common life event and not exclusive to the entertainment world.

In a recent interview, Brobbey urged people to stop stigmatizing divorce, noting that anyone can marry and later decide to separate if the relationship is no longer working.

“There’s nothing wrong with that. I’m a divorcee so I feel it’s normal. It’s not only actors and actresses who marry and divorce. Anyone at all can get married and decide to divorce if things are not moving well,” she said.

Brobbey added that many divorces happen through mutual agreement and should not always be seen as negative.

“It’s just mutual understanding for the divorce to happen,” she stated.

Reflecting on fellow actress Nana Ama McBrown’s divorce, Brobbey described the situation as a normal life experience rather than an extraordinary event.

“Nana Ama McBrown’s case is normal. It’s not a big deal,” she shared.

Looking ahead, the actress revealed she is open to marrying again if she finds the right partner.

“I might consider getting married again if I meet someone who understands me and if we’re compatible. Marriage is glorious to women, especially so I will embrace it again if it comes,” she said.

Emelia Brobbey also acknowledged the unique pressures of being a celebrity, noting that fame can either strengthen or strain a marriage.

“Being a celebrity can destroy your marriage or make it stronger; it’s a 50/50 thing,” she further stated.
