Social media has been buzzing after a video surfaced showing Ghanaian actor Salinko directly advising businessman Richard Nii-Armah Quaye on how he manages loan requests in his financial dealings.
The video, which began circulating on April 2, 2026, captures Salinko speaking candidly to the entrepreneur, cautioning him to exercise more judgment when issuing loans. He suggested that greater care in selecting borrowers could help safeguard both his personal brand and business reputation.
Salinko acknowledged Quaye’s level of achievement, stressing that his success comes with responsibility and careful decision-making.
“I’ve heard many things about you. Where you have reached in life, God has blessed you. You have to be selective about who to give a loan to so that there wouldn’t be any problems with your brand,” he said.
He went on to explain that experience in the sector should naturally shape how lending decisions are made, noting that not everyone in the same industry reaches such a level of success.
“Not everyone in your line of business achieves what you’ve been able to achieve. You have been in the business for some time now, so you know how to go about giving out loans. That will prevent you from harassing those owing you, and your business will flourish,” he stated.
While emphasizing caution, Salinko also pointed out that borrowers remain an essential part of the financial ecosystem and should not be dismissed entirely.
“Those debtors are part of the reasons why your business is moving forward, so don’t think you don’t get money or profit from the loans you give. We all have pillars, and if that pillar collapses, your business will also collapse if you don’t make your corrections,” he warned.
He concluded by reminding the businessman that even large-scale or international ventures are not immune to setbacks if internal issues are ignored, adding a personal note to his appeal.
“You might think you have international businesses and a whole lot you’re doing, but you will go down if you don’t correct here. Mr Richard Nii-Armah Quaye, I’m advising you as a brother,” Salinko further stated.
