“Nobody Deserves to Suffer More Than Men Who Apologise to Women When They Are Wrong” – Brymo States

Brymo

Nigerian singer Brymo is facing backlash after sharing a controversial take on apologies in relationships, a comment many have described as misogynistic.

The “Ara” hitmaker argued that men should never apologise when a woman is clearly at fault, insisting that doing so only invites hardship. His remarks were posted on Instagram and quickly drew attention.

According to him, any man who takes responsibility for a woman’s wrongdoing is setting himself up for consequences. He wrote, “Nobody deserves to suffer than men who apologize to women when the women are wrong.

“And suffer they will from here, and for the rest of humanity’s earthly existence.”

The statement has since triggered divided reactions online, with critics pointing out that his stance overlooks the complexities of real-life relationships, while others debated the broader issue of accountability between partners.
