Kisa Gbekle Says She Wants More Children, But Only After Marriage

Kisa Gbekle

Ghanaian actress and film producer Kisa Gbekle has revealed that she still hopes to grow her family, but only under one condition: marriage comes first.

In an interview with Nana Romeo on UTV’s Atuu, she said she is open to having more children in the future, ideally two or three, but not outside wedlock.

Kisa, who already has one child, explained that she is satisfied with her current situation yet still envisions expanding her family when the timing is right and within marriage.

“I love children, and I wish to have an extra two or three. That will only happen when I marry, but not out of wedlock. I have one already, and it’s fine,” she said.

She also shared a personal reflection on the period before she gave birth to her son, recalling the prayers she made at the time.

According to her, she had no material possessions to rely on then, so she prayed specifically for a child who would stand out in appearance.

“Before I had my son, I prayed to God that I wouldn’t have anything to flaunt aside the baby in my belly. What I want is, when someone looks at him, they should turn and stare at him more,” she stated.

Kisa further noted that she later began experiencing dreams where she visited homes and admired children she believed were girls, only to be corrected that they were boys.

She says that pattern eventually played out in reality with her own son, who is frequently mistaken for a girl because of his looks.

“I started dreaming of going to people’s houses, and whenever I saw them with their children, I would say, ‘ The child is beautiful.’ They would then tell me the child is a boy and not a girl. That’s what actually happens to me now,” she shared.

“Everywhere we go, they would say my child is beautiful, then I would correct them that my child is a boy. He is so handsome to the extent that people mistake him for a girl,” Kisa Gbekle further stated.
