Former Big Brother Naija star Chichi has sparked debate on social media after dropping a set of blunt relationship remarks that many have described as controversial.
The reality TV personality made the comments while having her hair styled, where she addressed how some women should navigate relationships with men she described as problematic but still useful in certain ways.
According to her, women should sometimes be calculated in how they respond in such situations.
“Even when a man is misbehaving, as long as he has something to offer, behave like a fool. After collecting what you need from him, that is when you will act wisely. By the time his eyes are cleared, you have already gotten the things you want.”
She went on to argue that being overly cautious or “wise” from the beginning of a relationship might not always work in one’s favour, suggesting that restraint and strategy could lead to better outcomes.
“You know, when you act stupid, they see you as a mumu, so make sure you act like that until you get what you want. If you act wisely, you will be the one to lose in that relationship, because I am speaking out of experience,” Chichi further stated.
