Adombi Serwaa is not losing sleep over the kind of content her daughter, Efia Odo, shares online. In fact, she says she sees little reason for the backlash that often trails the actress and socialite’s videos.
Speaking on United Showbiz, she made it clear that the posts many critics take issue with do not bother her. From her perspective, Efia Odo is simply expressing herself, and she finds some of the content worth appreciating.
Beyond defending her daughter, Adombi Serwaa admitted she occasionally admires Efia Odo’s physique and confidence on screen.
“She has a very nice body, and I like how she moves in her videos,” she said.
She also addressed the conversation around Efia Odo’s appearance in Sarkodie’s “Odo Pa” music video, particularly a scene some viewers have labelled explicit. According to her, she was not informed beforehand about the shoot and only got to see the final product after it had been released.
Adombi Serwaa explained that her initial reaction was surprise, but that changed once the concept behind the video was explained to her.
“I had no idea about the video, and I didn’t know when she shot it. She only showed it to me this evening. When I watched it, I was surprised, but after she explained the story behind the video and the song, I appreciated her dressing and role better.
“I told her, ‘Good job.’ As long as she wasn’t completely exposed, I’m okay with it,” Efia Odo’s mother further stated.
