Woman Retracts Explosive Claims Against Agradaa’s Husband, Issues Public Apology

Nana Agradaa and Angel Asiamah after release

The woman who previously sparked controversy with claims that Angel Asiamah, husband of Evangelist Patricia Asiamah aka Nana Agradaa, had fathered a child with her while Agradaa was in prison has now withdrawn her allegation and issued a public apology.

Her change of position was communicated through her brother, who stepped in to explain how the situation escalated in the first place.

According to him, the claim was never factual. He said it was born out of repeated remarks from people in their community who insisted the child bore a strong resemblance to Agradaa, which eventually spiralled into a fabricated narrative.

“The truth is that Angel Asiamah is not the father of my sister’s daughter. Apparently, people living in this community have been saying that her daughter resembles Agradaa. I can also testify that the child looks like her, but we were having a funeral here, of which we had a blogger who joined us. The blogger also attested to the fact that the child looks like Mama Pat.

“They decided to create content, but I wasn’t present at the time of the content creation. I was here today when my sister came to me, claiming the video had landed her in trouble. I watched the clip and realised she didn’t talk well. I am here with my sister to apologise,” he said.

The woman herself also followed up with an apology directed at the evangelist, admitting she never anticipated the fallout the video would generate.

“I am very sorry, Mama Pat, I didn’t know the video would go this far. Please, it will not happen again,” she pleaded.

The controversy first gained traction after she went public with allegations that she had secretly been involved in a romantic relationship with Angel Asiamah during the period Agradaa was incarcerated between July 2025 and March 2026.

She further alleged that the evangelist’s husband had fathered a child with her and failed to take responsibility, adding that she was prepared to hand the child over to him.

In the wake of the viral claims, Evangelist Agradaa reacted strongly online, rejecting the allegations outright and signalling that she would pursue legal action.

She also stated that she intended to seek custody of the child the woman had linked to her husband, and warned that she would ensure the matter served as a cautionary example to others who spread false narratives online.
