Famous Ghanaian artiste Black Sherif has added another international accolade to his growing career after securing his first-ever win at the 43rd International Reggae & World Music Awards held in Florida, USA.

The reigning Ghana Artiste of the Year walked away with the Most Promising Entertainer award during the ceremony on Sunday, May 17, 2026, marking a significant moment in his journey from Konongo to the global stage.

Widely recognised as one of the biggest nights in reggae and world music, the IRAWMA event took place at the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center and attracted leading figures from reggae, dancehall, Afrobeat, Soca and other international music genres.
