Plans for the final funeral rites of Beverly Afaglo have now been formally disclosed by her family.
The family confirmed that the last funeral ceremony will take place at the Lashibi Funeral Home on Friday, August 7, 2026.
This was communicated during her One-Week Observation held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the Green Flavour Events Centre in Community 9, Tema, where relatives, friends, and members of the entertainment industry gathered in large numbers to honour her memory. Emotions ran high throughout the event, with many mourners visibly overwhelmed.
News of Beverly Afaglo’s passing was first shared by her husband, Eugene Baah, well known in music circles as Choirmaster of the group Praye, who announced it in an emotional Instagram post on Sunday, May 24, 2026.
Subsequently, her manager, Abu Iddris, confirmed that she had been battling cancer for two years. A previously recorded video of the late actress also resurfaced, in which she spoke about a hereditary link to cancer within her family.
