Ghanaian actor Kwaku Manu has denied deliberately unfollowing media personality Charly D on social media, saying he has no issue with her that would prompt such a move.
The matter came up after Charly D claimed on United Showbiz that Kwaku Manu had unfollowed her. She, however, did not disclose what might have triggered the alleged fallout between the two personalities.
In a video shared online, Kwaku Manu addressed the claim and maintained that there is no bad blood between them.
According to the actor, Charly D has not wronged him in any way that would make him intentionally cut ties with her on social media.
Kwaku Manu suggested that the situation could be similar to an earlier incident involving veteran actor Akrobeto, who had also complained that he had been blocked by him.
He recalled that Akrobeto’s allegation prompted him to check his phone to establish whether there was any truth to the claim.
After checking, Kwaku Manu discovered that Akrobeto’s number was, in fact, blocked on his phone.
The actor, however, explained that he had not intentionally blocked his colleague and only became aware of it after investigating the matter.
He said he immediately unblocked Akrobeto’s number once he realised what had happened, suggesting that the same kind of accidental action could explain the situation involving Charly D.
