KiDi has given fans a rare glimpse into his current love life, confirming that he is not in a relationship and is waiting for the right woman to come into his life.
The singer made the revelation when he appeared on Hitz FM for an interview with Kwame Dadzie as part of his media engagements for his latest album, Where Do We Go From Here.
The subject of relationships came up when Kwame Dadzie asked KiDi if he had been feeling lonely in the area of love. Although the singer seemed to know exactly where the conversation was heading, he made it clear that he did not consider himself lonely.
He then jokingly took control of the conversation after being encouraged to address the subject in his own words.
“Yes, don’t push me, I will go myself. I have legs to go. Don’t push me, I will go,” he said amid laughter.
KiDi eventually got straight to the point and disclosed his current relationship status.
“I’m single. I am still waiting for the Lord to bring a beautiful girl my way.”
The ‘Lomo Lomo’ hitmaker was then asked if people actually believe him when he says he is single, given the persistent speculation about his love life.
KiDi responded with laughter before acknowledging that his claims are often met with disbelief.
“Of course, all the time.”
Speculation about KiDi’s romantic life has surfaced on social media on several occasions, with fans often trying to establish whether the singer is secretly dating someone.
For now, however, KiDi says he is single and appears comfortable allowing God to determine when the right relationship will come his way.
His comments came during a media tour following the release of Where Do We Go From Here, an album that draws from Afrobeats, highlife and R&B as the singer embarks on the promotional campaign for the project.
