Obinim Accuses Florence of Prioritising Properties Over Their Children Amid Divorce Battle

Bishop Daniel Obinim and his wife Florence Obinim

Bishop Daniel Obinim has criticised his estranged wife, Florence Obinim, over a list of properties and financial benefits she is reportedly seeking as part of their ongoing divorce proceedings.

In a video circulating on TikTok, the founder of the International God’s Way Church is seen reading through the alleged demands, expressing frustration over what he considers his wife’s failure to prioritise their children’s welfare.

Obinim accused Florence of concentrating on the division of his assets rather than considering how their separation could affect their children. He questioned her priorities and suggested that her demands showed little concern for the family.

“As a mother, you have refused to think about the kids. Are you mad? Do you want my children to go wayward? Recently, when Promise went to get a tattoo, it was my name that was being mentioned.

“Do you think about the kids as I do? If you think you are mad, I am crazier than you,” he said.

The outspoken clergyman also raised concerns about the behaviour of their child, Promise, revealing that he had personally pleaded with her to remove a tattoo from her neck.

According to Obinim, he made the appeal during a video call last week, during which he also asked her to take off her earring.

“Last week, I called Promise on a video call, begging her to remove the tattoo. I asked her to remove the earring as well,” he further stated.

Obinim’s comments come amid reports that Florence, a musician, has taken the matter to court as the estranged couple work through the terms of their divorce.

Among her reported demands are GH¢2 million, a house in Barcelona, Spain, and a monthly allowance of GH¢10,000, alongside other requests.

The divorce proceedings and Obinim’s public reaction have brought attention to the disagreements between the couple, particularly over the reported financial terms of their separation and concerns surrounding their children’s welfare.
