A video circulating online has captured Ghanaian artiste Patapaa in a tense exchange with individuals at a hotel, drawing wide attention on social media.
The video, which surfaced on June 2, 2026, shows the artiste in a heated verbal confrontation with hotel staff over what he claims was disrespectful treatment from a receptionist. The disagreement quickly escalated as he voiced his frustration on the spot.
In the one-minute, 35-second clip, staff members are seen trying to calm him down as emotions run high. Patapaa could be heard insisting he would not stay at the facility any longer due to the alleged behaviour he experienced.
Although the exact trigger of the confrontation was not clearly established, he is heard saying, “I will not sleep here. The people who work in this hotel are disrespectful. Even if someone comes to your hotel and is mentally disturbed but can afford to pay for a room, you should still welcome the person.”
