Reactions have trailed comments made by outspoken prophet and founder of Heaven’s Gate Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, Kumchacha, after he suggested that many pastors’ wives lack sexual experience and responsiveness in marriage.
Speaking on Okay FM, he linked what he described as poor intimacy skills among some married couples to growing dissatisfaction and strain in relationships, arguing that such issues often go unspoken but play a major role in broken homes.
According to him, what happens in the bedroom is a quiet but powerful factor behind divorce cases in the country.
“Do you know that many people who get married eventually get divorced because of their performance in bed?” he said.
He specifically pointed to pastors’ households, claiming the situation is widespread among them.
“Like pastors’ wives, for instance, 99.999% of pastors’ wives just lie in bed. They don’t know how to do anything. She won’t give you doggy; she won’t bend over when you tell her to,” he declared.
Kumchacha also praised television personality Akumaa Mama Zimbi’s relationship and sex education programme on Adom TV, saying it offers practical lessons that many married women, including those in religious homes, appear to be missing.
“For someone like Akumaa Mama Zimbi’s sex tutorial show on Adom TV, I have learned many things from it, and it is very good. Many of the women also learn from it,” he said.
He went further to suggest that the programme should be made accessible to a younger audience, urging the Communications Ministry to consider lowering the viewing age.
“I would plead with the Minister to allow the children to start watching. If they start watching, they can get a lot of experience in bed which will help when they get married. They are learning it just like going to school,” Kumchacha stressed.
