Blessed Gideons Charity Foundation Donates To Five Physically Challenged Siblings In Sunyani
Blessed Gideons Charity Foundation, a non-governmental organization has donated food items and toiletries to the five physically challenged brothers who live in Sunyani.
This is not the first time the NGO is donating to these siblings. The NGO was formed in 2017 by Gideon Quansah and Gideon Appiah Kubi.
Some of the items donated to the five siblings include; 4 bags of rice,2 boxes of 210g tomato paste, 25 litres of cooking oil,1 box of canned fish and 8 cartons of soft drinks.
The rest of the items were;14 packs toilet roll, 2 boxes of soap and 1 bag of washing powder and disclosed amount.
Speaking to First News, Gideon Quansah who donated the items on behalf of the NGO said, “As Christians it is expected of us to help the needy in the society especially in this challenging time. Those who are even working are going through a lot, how much more our brothers who cannot do anything.”
Madam Abena Asantewaa Aunty to the five siblings and their caretaker commended the NGO for their kind gesture.
“This donation has come at the appropriate time because things have been hard for us. We are so grateful; may God bless them for coming to support us with these items.”
The NGO since its establishment has donated items at the Kumasi Central Prisons, Ankaful Prisons and the Good Shepherd Orphanage Home at Akwatia in the Eastern Region.
