According to the National Communication Authority (NCA) Ghanaians will be able to know from 1st May, 2023 the number of sim cards linked to their Ghana card.
Ghanaians will be able to dial *402*1# to know the number of sim cards linked to their Ghana cards.
According to the Director General of the National Communication Authority, Joe Anokye the exercise will help sanitise the system and track people abusing the system.
“For Individual Subscribers to verify the number of SIMs associated with a Ghana card; you just type the short code on your phone, and after a verification process using your Ghana card pin, the number of SIMs associated with the Ghana card will be displayed,” the NCA stated.
