26th Telecel Ghana Music Awards: Organizers open nominations
The organizers of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards have officially announced the opening of nominations for the 26th edition.
This announcement was made in a statement released on Tuesday, January 21, 2024.
“On behalf of the Board, our distinguished sponsors, and esteemed partners, we extend our warmest regards to all music stakeholders and officially announce the commencement of nominations for the 26th Telecel Ghana Music Awards,” part of the statement read.
Submissions are now being accepted for all commercially released works from January 1 to December 31, 2024. Artists, management teams, record labels, producers, instrumentalists, composers, and other industry stakeholders are invited to submit their entries via the official portal, www.entry.ghanamusicawards.com, by Sunday, February 16, 2025.
The organizers also announced key updates to the award categories.
“Please note that the categories for the TGMAs have been revised. These updates include modifications to category definitions and the introduction of new categories. Detailed information on these changes is available on our official website, www.GhanaMusicAwards.com, and our social media platforms: Ghana Music Awards on Facebook and @ghmusicawards on Instagram and X. We encourage all stakeholders to review these updates and prepare their submissions accordingly,” the statement continued.
