Popular Ghanaian highlife artiste, KK Fosu, has talked about his enduring relationship with music, describing it as far more than a profession, it’s the lifeblood that has sustained him through every challenge.
Fosu indicated that despite the ups and downs of the industry, he has never once questioned his path. Music, he insists, is woven into every part of his being.
“In life, you have to be a soldier and never give up. You see, the challenges will come, but you have to face them. Despite the temptations to doubt and the burden of challenges, I have never once wished to turn away from music. It is my heart, my spirit, my everything,” he said.
Even when he’s not in the spotlight, KK Fosu says his creative engine never powers down. The veteran artiste explained that the quieter periods in his career often mask a flurry of writing and musical exploration happening behind the scenes.
“You might see me quiet or taking things slowly, but behind the scenes, the creativity never ceases. I write and compose every single day. I always thank God for this gift, and I reaffirm: we don’t stop. We never stop,” he stated.
With an eye on the future, KK Fosu is gearing up for global expansion. He revealed plans to take his iconic Dstyle Concert beyond Ghana’s borders while also launching a talent discovery initiative designed to mentor and elevate emerging musicians.
“My fans should get ready for a global Dstyle Concert and also our talent hunt aimed at nurturing the next generation of Ghanaian music stars,” he announced.
