Sonnie Badu urges people to live within their means and ignore social media pressure

Famous Ghanaian gospel musician and pastor, Sonnie Badu, has urged people to embrace financial discipline and resist the pressure of social media.

In a video shared online, the ‘Wonder God’ composer advised against overspending to keep up appearances, stressing the importance of contentment.

“Learn to cut your coat according to your size. Live within your means. I know social media creates pressure to meet certain expectations, but hear me,” he cautioned.

Badu further pointed out that many who flaunt wealth online might not be as financially stable as they appear.

“You don’t know where they’re getting their luxury from—some are borrowing, others are spending their last dime just to impress. Go to bed, sleep, rest, and be content with what you have. Thank me later,” he advised.
