Shatta Wale has once again become the center of attention after a striking purple Lamborghini was cleared for him at Tema Port on Tuesday, August 19, 2025.
The unveiling was made public through a Facebook Live session on the official page of his public relations officer, Sammy Flex. In the stream, Flex and his team gave fans a first look at the luxury car and hinted that more footage would be released once the vehicle left the harbour.
This latest acquisition comes against the backdrop of lingering controversy surrounding Shatta Wale’s earlier Lamborghini Urus, purchased in 2019. That vehicle was seized weeks ago by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) as part of an international fraud investigation linked to Ghanaian-American Nana Kwabena Amuah, who has already been convicted abroad.
Authorities in both Ghana and the United States have said the impounded car forms part of a restitution process to cover more than $4.7 million in losses tied to the fraud case.
Despite the seizure, Shatta Wale has consistently maintained that the Urus was legitimately acquired, stressing that he bought it for $150,000 as a third-party purchaser and has “full documentation” to confirm his rightful ownership.
