Black Sherif Says Growth Taught Him to Let Go of Revenge

Black Sherif

Famous Ghanaian artiste, Black Sherif, has opened up about how maturity has shifted his perspective on vengeance.

Speaking in a recent interview with Dose Society, shared by Empire on X, the award-winning artiste revealed that earlier in his life, he carried grudges and dreamed of retaliating against people who mistreated him during his rise to fame.

“Growing up has changed my life because when I was a kid and even somewhere in high school, I still had grudges in me, and some people have wronged me, and I was like, when I grow up, I will show them.

“But then I grew up and I found out showing them isn’t something I really wanted to do because I have responsibilities. And I have clarity of my direction and where I want to take my life to,” he said.

Black Sherif, known in private life as Mohammed Ismail Sherif, urged his fans to focus on positive values such as love, hard work, and family instead of dwelling on revenge.

“You won’t that time, so don’t worry thinking about it… Center your things around love, hustle, and family, and everything. You need to love your hustle because you need to keep showing up, and if it is not something you love, you will work up someday and not show up,” Sherif advised.
