Famous Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, has disclosed that he has already begun formal steps toward marrying his longtime partner, Maali.
During an interview with George Quaye on Joy Prime, the “Gringo” composer revealed that he has performed some traditional customs and earned full acceptance from Maali’s family.
“I’m married already, or is it because I’ve not said anything about it? The only appropriate thing I’ve done with Maali is meeting her parents with a couple of people.
“Her father has really accepted me into the family. I went with drinks and all the things involved. It was beautiful,” he opened up.
Shatta Wale said his next goal is to host a grand and memorable wedding ceremony.
“I’m saving for my wedding. I have to save for my grand wedding,” he stated.
Wale and Maali welcomed a baby girl in November 2024.
