The Ministry of Health (MoH) has opened applications for Ghanaian nurses seeking to work abroad through a new international recruitment program in Grenada. The Ministry described the initiative as a challenging but rewarding opportunity for professionals ready to broaden their expertise and gain global exposure.
According to a statement from the Ministry, the recruitment exercise is targeting critical care nurses, accident and emergency nurses, public health nurses, and general nurses who wish to advance their careers through international service.
Interested applicants must fulfill the licensing and regulatory standards of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana and have at least five years of professional experience in their respective areas of practice.
The application window opens on Friday, October 24, and closes on Tuesday, October 28, 2025. Candidates are to submit their applications through the Ministry’s online recruitment portal at https://hr.moh.gov.gh or via email at mohhrhd@moh.gov.gh.
Applicants shortlisted for interviews will be required to present certified copies of their academic and professional credentials as well as proof of registration with the appropriate regulatory body.
The Ministry also cautioned that “unsuitable applications will not be acknowledged.”
This follows an agreement signed between Ghana’s government and Grenada a few days ago.
