Ghanaian rapper and entrepreneur D-Black has opened up about his ongoing relationship with Freda Rhymz following her departure from Black Avenue Muzik.
The conversation started on X when a fan appealed to the label boss to give Freda another shot:
“Freda Rhymz amaniehuno. You can take her back & rebuild her again. Please! 🙏🏿 🥹😭”
Freda Rhymz, once a key figure at Black Avenue Muzik, gained much of her early recognition through the label. Her exit years ago left fans wondering if a reunion might ever happen, with calls for reconciliation surfacing intermittently.
D-Black responded, clarifying that their relationship remains positive but that a professional reunion is not on his agenda right now.
“We def cool. She’s apologized twice, I think in 2021 and this year 2026 I think, but at this point in my journey on the music / media front I’m focused more on building @enjoyment_radio and pushing 🇬🇭content to the world than just focusing on a particular act / artists.”
